- Myiarchus stolidus
Identification
Whitish throat and upper breast, pale yellow lower breast and belly. Bill is all black.
Distribution
Jamaica, and Hispaniola (the Dominican Republic and Haiti).
Taxonomy
Two subspecies are recognized:
- M. s. dominicensis
- Hispaniola with larger outlying islands
- M. s. stolidus
Habitat
Forests and mangrove forests.
Behaviour
Feeds on insects and to some extent fruit. Food is captured by gleaning.
