Taxonomy

Subspecies

Two subspecies are recognized which are sometimes split into two species:[1]

  • G. s. sclaterii
  • G. s. scheepmakeri
  • Coastal southeast New Guinea (Hall Sound to Orangerie Bay)

Lowland forests.
