Identification
16cm. Grey upperparts and head, and orange underparts, fading to yellow on the belly, orange tail edges, rump and wing patches. Dark beak and long wings.
The female is grey above, with yellow underparts, tail edges, rump and wing patches.
Distribution
Southern Asia from the Indian subcontinent east to Indonesia.

It builds a cup shaped nest. 2-4 spotted eggs are laid and are incubated by the female.
