Distribution

Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Taxonomy

This is one of the many Sunbirds that have recently been moved to the genus Cinnyris from the genus Nectarinia.

Habitat

Montane forests.
