Description
Orange-breasted Falcon (Falco deiroleucus)
Range:
Central and South America. Rare in Mexico recorded from Veracruz and north-west Chiapas and in Central America from Panama. In South America occurs from Colombia to northern Argentina and has been recorded in Trinidad. Rare to very rare over entire range.
Habitat:
Woodland and forest edge from sea-level up to 1,700m, forested foothills and mountains. Nests on cliff ledges.
