Identification

Location: Victoria

The Musk Lorikeet (Glossopsitta concinna) inhabits south-central/eastern Australia. It is distinguished by a red bill and forehead, blue crown and a distinctive yellow band on its wing.


[edit] Breeding The musk lorikeet breeds mainly from August to January. Their nest are usually built in a hollow limb of a tree. 2 white 25x20mm eggs are laid.
