Overview
A new, still developing reserve, evolved from worked-out gravel pits. This 80 acre nature reserve is located in Angus, near Forfar, in eastern Central Scotland.

History and Use
An aggregates quarry that has been turned into a nature reserve as the quarry work declined.
Areas of Interest
Sand Martin colony is a must see when it is breeding time. There are several hides and viewing screens along the lakes and well marked walks and infromation boards.
