Identification
Stocky appearance.Fine whitish streaks on brown crown and greyish brown throat and breast-diagnostic.Mantle,wings and tail rich olive yellow;belly whitish;undertail coverts yellowish.Crown feathers sometimes raised in short shaggy crest.Size-24cm. Photo taken: Fraser's Hill, Malaysia
Distribution
Mountain Bulbul (Hypsipetes mcclellandii) is a local resident in Himalayas and southern China through S.E.Asia and the Malay Peninsular.
