Identification
Length 5 to 5.5 inches (12.5-14 cm). Green body, black-edged flight feathers, and gray feet, silvery gray beaks. Males have cyan (teal) blue colour on their rumps and under their wings.

Pacific slope of western Mexico from southern Sonora to Colima.
