Madanga ruficollis

Identification

13 cm. Grey head, rufous-orange throat. Olive-green upperparts, grey underparts. Yellowish-brown undertail-coverts. Black bill and legs.

Distribution

Endemic to Buru, Indonesia.

Taxonomy

It appears that "Rufous- throated White-eye" is an aberrant member of Moticillidae (1).

Habitat

Moist montane forests.
