Identification

  • Bill is yellow at the base and red at the tip
  • Small fleshy black "horn" above their eyes
  • White face
    • Dark line extending from the back of the eye
  • Red feet

Distribution

Siberia, Alaska and British Columbia.

This is a monotypic species[1].

Rocky coastal areas

Nest are built in burrows, in rocky cavities or among rocks.
