Vireo nanus

Identification

Tail is slightly longer than most vireos.
Iris color variable, from grey to a whitish "staring" appearance (darker in younger individuals?).

Distribution

Caribbean: found in Hispaniola and Gonâve Island

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Semi-arid lowland scrub
