Distribution
Australia: found in the Northern Territory, Queensland and South Australia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Deserts with dune canegrass.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes seeds, insects and other small invertebrates.
Breeding
It builds its nest in clumps of cane-grass.
