Genus: Acanthidops

Description

Peg-Billed Finch.

Taxonomy

Acanthidops is a monotypic genus in the family Emberizidae. New research shows that it would be better placed within the tanagers in the family Thraupidae. As the Opus follows Clements in term of families it's still placed within the Buntings here.
