Gerygone mouki

Identification

Olive-grey or brown upperparts, pale grey face and underparts, brown flanks, white eyebrow, red-brown iris, dark tail band is dark, white tipped tail.

Distribution

East coast of Australia.

Taxonomy

There are 3 subspecies.

Habitat

Mountain and coastal rainforest and mangroves.

Behaviour

The diet includes insects.

The nest is a rounded dome made from roots, plants, moss and spider web. Both parents feed the young.
