Borgefjell National Park Norway
A large area of mountains with marshes, lakes and fast-flowing rivers, coniferous forest and birch woodland and scrub.
The birds are typical of such habitats in Scandinavia including Rough-legged Buzzard, Rock Ptarmigan and Snow Bunting in the more open areas, Taiga Bean Goose and Lesser White-fronted Goose, Temminck's Stint and Red-necked Phalarope in the marshes and Common Goldeneye and Goosander on the lakes. Just to the north is a large lake, Rossvatn with breeding Common Scoter and Black-throated Diver.
