Big Lake

Big Lake is a recognized Important Bird Area near Edmonton Alberta. It is especially significant in the migration periods. More information is posted at www.bless.ab.ca. In 2005, the Great Egret nested way out of its normal range at Big Lake. It recently gained provincial park status. Content and images originally posted by Lorax Dan
