Identification
21·5–22 cm
- Black (or greyish-black) head, neck, breast, upper belly and flanks
Distribution
South-east Asia: found in north-west New Guinea (Arfak, Tamrau and Wandammen Mountains)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Montane forests and forest edges, gardens. Reported at heights around 1200–2700 m,

Mainly frugivorous but also known to eat insects and seeds.
