Red-rumped Tinkerbird - BirdForum Opus

Pogoniulus atroflavus

Identification

Length about 13 cm.

The head is dark with two yellow stripes behind each eye, yellow moustach stripes and yellow chin and throat. Back dark and rump red.

Distribution

Africa: Coastal West Africa from Guinea to Democratic Republic of Congo; inland to southern Central African Republic and northern Democratic Republic of Congo.
