Identification
Large and somewhat secretive with rufous wings and tail, a gray breast, and a yellow belly. Often erects a bushy crest.
Distribution
This monotypic flycatcher is found breeding from south-central to south-eastern Canada to south-east USA and west to Texas; it winters to northern South America.
