Oklahoma

Overview

This nature center is in a very large park (Mohawk Park) which includes a lake, golf course and Oxley Nature center. It is close enough for a visit even if you just have a few hours layover. It has several different habitates.

Birds

Late October into mid December are great in the fall. Several birds winter over here and the spring migration starts in mid March through May. It is over 800 acres and has over 200 birds during the different seasons.
