Gregory Sargean's review

I own three of these Fieldfare field guide covers. They are perfect for smaller format American guides such as the Petersen and the smaller Sibley guides, as well as the paperback Princeton Photographic Guides (Shorebirds of North America, Sparrows of North America). They are excellent and hold up well under a variety of conditions. While not 100% waterproof they are water resistant. I dropped my Sibley Guide into the drink while getting out of a boat and it floated long enough for me to retrieve it. It was only slightly damp when I removed it from the cover.

Pros

  • Rugged and durable
  • nice design

Cons

  • Only one color choice
