sighted in downtown Taichung City, TAIWAN May 2006
I spotted this bird on the roof of Feng Chia University some days ago (early May 2006). It sat there before nightfall and called with interrruptions (something like: boo boo). I could get as close as about 3 meters. It saw me but was not afraid. I imitated its call and it seemed to respond. After a while it flew over to the rooftop of the opposite building. So it seemes to have it's habitat in the inner cities, at least here in Taiwan.
