Distribution
South-east Asia: found in Malaya, Sumatra and Borneo.
Taxonomy
Subspecies
- L. e. erythrophthalma - Malay Peninsula and Sumatra
- L. e. pyronota - northern Borneo
Habitat
Lowland jungles.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes termites, ticks, berries,and grubs.
Breeding
The 3-6 eggs are incubated for 24 days.
