Distribution
Southern and southeastern China and Taiwan.
Taxonomy
Formerly included in Striated Prinia.
Subspecies
Three subspecies are recognized[1].
- P. s. catharia:
- southern China (Sichuan, southern Shaanxi, and eastern Yunnan east to Hunan and northern Guangdong)
- P. s. parumstriata:
- Coastal provinces of south-eastern China and Yangtze River drainage
- P. s. striata:
