Overview
This Texas State Park is 270.3 acres in size and is named for the tropical Dwarf Palmetto plant found there. It is located in Gonzales County, between the towns of Luling and Gonzales, just south of Interstate 10. The park is on the central section of the Great Coastal Birding Trail - site no. CTC 29.
NB: The park is open but as of June 2019, the low water bridge is closed due to flooding. Check their website for updates - link below.
