Description

Taxonomy

Zeledonia is a monotypic genus in the family Parulidae. However, it has in the past been viewed as a monotypic family, and HBW online states that recent research indicates that it could be reinstated as such ("this species appears not to form part of a monophyletic parulid family. Further research required.")
