Ducula neglecta

Identification

White eye ring.

Distribution

Endemic to Southeast Asia: found on Boano, Seram, Ambon and Saparua in the southern Moluccas, Indonesia.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly included in White-eyed Imperial Pigeon, together with Spectacled Imperial Pigeon.

Subspecies

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and mangrove forests.
