Overview

This State Park is located on Aransas Bay on the Texas coast, north of Rockport and very close to Aransas NWR. It is 321 acres in size and has a very large live oak tree thought to be over 1000 years old.

The park is on the central section of the Great Coastal Birding Trail - site no. CTC 48.
