Endemic to the Pacific islands of Polynesia: found in the larger islands in Tuamotu Archipelago (except Makatea)
Taxonomy
Monotypic[1]
This taxon is considered a subspecies of Grey-green Fruit-Dove (sensu lato) by some authors[2]
Habitat
Low coral atolls in forest and abandoned coconut plantations.
Behaviour
The diet includes insects and seeds; it is a ground feeder.
