Identification

Male:
- Plumbeous
- Black wings
- Two white wing-bars
- Black tail with broad white terminal band
- Underparts paler
- Black bib
Female: similar
- Paler above
- Grey wings with whitish wing-bars
- Creamy-buff underparts
- Whitish on throat
- Greyish flanks.
Distribution
South America: found in coastal south-eastern Brazil (central Bahia to northern Rio de Janeiro)

Habitat
Moist lowland forests.
