Identification

13cm. Pale brown.

Distribution

Atherton region in north-eastern Queensland, Australia.

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Upland rainforests.

Behaviour

Terrestrial, both feeding and nesting on or near the ground. The breeding season is from September to January.

The diet includes insects and snails.
