14–15 cm

  • Grey face, ear coverts and neck sides
  • Pale grey lores
  • Dark olive-grey upperparts
  • Yellow belly

Distribution

New Caledonia

Sometimes placed in genus Microeca.

Habitat

Humid and dry forests and woodland.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists of insects which are forage on or near the ground.
