Identification
Deep black, bright white forehead patch, light blue lower back-upper rump, sulphur-yellow breast patch, black legs, and dark eyes. Female - grey and black with the sulphur-yellow belly, white eye-ring.
Distribution
Suriname, French Guiana, Guyana and the northeastern Amazon states of Brazil.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species which in the past was considered to include Tepui Manakin.
This species has in the past been placed in genus Pipra.
