Identification

37-45cm.

Distribution

Central and southern Africa.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Forests and wooded valleys.

Behaviour

Its diet includes plants and fruit, but will occasionally eat insects.

They nest on a platform of twigs and 2 eggs are laid, which are incubated for 21-24 days by both parents, and the young fledge after a further 4-7 weeks.
