Identification

- Brownish-olive upper parts
- Brown crown with dusky streaks
Distribution
South America: found locally in western Amazonia (Ecuador in Pastaza; Peru in eastern Loreto); more widespread from north-eastern Bolivia across central and eastern Amazonian Brazil
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Dry shrubland and tangled vines.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists almost entirely of insects.
