Similar Species
Very similar to Lucifer Hummingbird .
Distribution
Arid scrub of southern Mexico (Guerrero and southern Puebla to eastern Oaxaca).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Dry subtropical highland scrub and thorn forest.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of nectar and small flying insects.
