Distribution
Sub-Saharan Africa: From Guinea-Bissau in the west to Ethiopia and Kenya in the east, and Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania in the south.
Taxonomy
Subspecies
Lybius bidentatus has two subspecies[1]:
- L. b. bidentatus:
- Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia to central Cameroon
- L. b. aequatorialis:
Habitat
Rainforest, shrubland, gardens. Wooded areas with fig trees,.
