Identification
Large black and yellow striped bill, bare blue skin around eyes. Blackish-green upperside and tail feathers but with reddish uppertail and underside with alternate yellow versus black-and-red pectoral bands.

Amazon region of South America

Habitat
Humid lowland forests and sandy soil woodlands.
Behaviour
Diet includes fruits. They digest the fruit fibre and regurgitate the seeds. Often occurs in small, noisy bands.
