In winter, regularly a few Brent Geese, 25+ Little Grebes on the meanders, 500+Wigeon, 100+ Teal, a few Redshank, Curlew, Lapwing, Oystercatcher, Snipe, sometimes Dunlin and Golden Plover
In Spring Sand Martins, Swallows, Scandinavian Rock Pipit, Water Pipit, Chiffchaff and sometimes Garganey and Little Ringed Plover from Mid-March , Whimbrel, Greenshank, Sandwich and Common Tern , Whitethroat, Willow, Grasshopper, Reed and Sedge Warblers, Dunlin, Common Sandpiper and both Godwits from April, Swift and possibly mediterranean overshoots in May.
In summer breeding Wheatear, Ringed Plover, Shelduck, Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Reed and Sedge Warblers and Chiffchaff
in Autumn migrating chats, warblers and wagtails from August, waders from July, finches, thrushes and larks from October.
