Genus: Minla
Description
This genus contains the three Minlas from SE-Asia. Minlas have striking wing and tail patterns. They are often found in single-species groups or birdwaves together with other Babblers.
Taxonomy
Minla is a genus in the Family Timaliidae.
The three Minlas may not be closely related. Some authorities place therefore every species in its own genus. Blue-winged Minla is placed in Siva, Chestnut-tailed Minla in Chrysominla and Red-tailed Minla would be the only remaining member of Minla. However, the big worldlists don't accept this genera yet.
