Distribution
Endemic to southeast Asia: found in Indochina, Thailand, Malaysia, Malay Peninsula, Brunei, Borneo, Indonesia, Greater Sundas and Sumatra.
Taxonomy
Subspecies
There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- H. o. orrhophaeus:
- Lowlands of Malay Peninsula and Sumatra
- H. o. vidua:
- Lowlands of northern Borneo
Habitat
Broadleaved evergreen forest, up to 200m.
