South-east Asia and Australasia
South-east Asia: found in Indonesia and the Moluccas
Australasia: Papua New Guinea, Queensland and Melanesia

- Lowlands of western New Guinea (Geelvink Bay region)

- Western New Guinea, Misool and Batanta islands

- South-western New Guinea (Onin Peninsula to Triton Bay)
- G. c. chrysogaster:
- Southern and eastern New Guinea, Yapen Island and Aru Islands
Habitat
Rainforests and mangroves.
Behaviour

They are insectivorous but little else is know about what they eat.
