Identification
16–18 cm (6-7 in)

Distribution
Africa: Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Heights of around 500 to 2000m in fairly open woodland with fruiting trees and bushed, natural and cultivated areas. They appear to have a preference for dryer woodlands, especially with scattered fig trees.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of berries, a wide variety of fruits; also insects such as ants, termites and beetles.
