28–31 cm
Male
- Green head, upperparts and breast
- Yellowish bare facial patch
- Bill: whitish through to green with a yellow base
Distribution
Western Africa: found in Guinea, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Lowland rain, swamp and flood forests.
Behaviour
Diet
They are particularly fond of large green caterpillars, their diet also includes beetles, moths and crickets etc.
