Genus: Gymnorhina
Description
This genus contains only one species, the Australian Magpie from Australia and New Guinea.
Taxonomy
Gymnorhina is a monotypic genus in the family Artamidae but has previously been placed in family Cracticidae.
It is sometimes placed with the Butcherbirds in genus Cracticus.
