Distribution

Western Africa: found in the montane forests of western Cameroon and Adamawa Plateau

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

This taxon is considered a subspecies of Sharpe's Apalis (sensu lato) by some authors[2]

Moist lowland gallery forests and forest edges,and dry savanna.
