Distribution
Asia: China
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
Taxonomy
- P. d. davisoni from extreme southwest China to eastern Burma, northern Thailand, northern Laos and northern Vietnam
- P. d. disturbans in southern China (Sichuan to southeast Yunnan, northern Guizhou and southeast Hunan)
- P. d. ogilviegranti in southeast China (northwest Fujian and adjacent Guangdong)
- P. d. intensior in southeast Thailand and northern Cambodia
- P. d. klossi in the mountains of southern Laos and southern Vietnam
Some authorites split this species into two:
- Kloss's Leaf Warbler - Phylloscopus ogilviegranti (with klossi, intensior and disturbans)
- Davison's Leaf Warbler - Phylloscopus davisoni (monotypic)
