North-eastern Africa.

Taxonomy

Some authorities consider Somali Courser conspecific with Cream-coloured Courser.[1]

Cursorius somalensis has two subspecies:

  • C. s. somalensis
  • C. s. littoralis

Habitat

Semi-arid grassland.
