- Diuca diuca
Identification
Male - grey upperparts and head, small white crescents above and below eyes, white throat, grey breast band and flanks, white belly in inverted V shape, cinnamon crissum, blue grey bill. Female - browner.
Distribution
Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Uruguay.
Taxonomy
There are 4 subspecies.
Habitat
Dry and high-altitude shrubland, farmland, forest edges and gardens.
